SPECIAL FEATURES: Either mounted as a fireplace mantel or simply the focal point of a wall, these handsome units are hand crafted from eastern white pine, finely sanded and ready-to-finish. The design consists of five sides with a totally enclosed bottom. There is a "plate groove" on the shelf top that enables plates to be displayed vertically. These units are easy to mount to the wall through the use of a concealed mounting bracket that is pre-drilled to align with wall studs. If mounting directly into wall studs is not possible, we recommend the use of an "anchor" type fastener for maximum support of heavy objects.
