SPECIAL FEATURES: Hand Crafted from Eastern White Pine, finely sanded and ready-to-finish. Great for holding those extra deep cookbooks in the kitchen or speakers in the family room. The perfect country accent pieces to compliment any room decor. Sturdy in design and construction and great for displaying collectibles. A "plate groove" on the top of the shelf enable plates to stand vertically. The front two corners of the shelf are rounded. Maple Shaker Pegs are spaced 6" apart. There are two mounting holes drilled through the backboard to secure the shelf to the wall. (The mounting holes in the 28" and wider shelves are spaced in multiples of 16" to align with wall studs). If screwing directly into wall studs is not possible, we recommend the use of an "anchor" type fastener for maximum support of heavy objects. Two maple end grain buttons are provided to cover the mounting holes.
