SPECIAL FEATURES: "The bolts do not go through your quilt." Your quilt is gripped gently in place, in the lower portion of the clamp beneath each bolt. Hand Crafted from Eastern White Pine, finely sanded and ready-to-finish. Quality Maple end grain knobs are secured to inserted metal T-nuts with a hefty 1/4" hanger bolt. A rabeted clamping area assures a secure and even clamping of your quilt or tapestry. The 6" deep shelf has a plate groove and is perfect for displaying plates and collectibles. (The mounting holes are spaced in multiples of 16" to align with wall studs). If screwing directly into wall studs is not possible, we recommend the use of an "anchor" type fastener for maximum support of heavy objects. Two maple end grain buttons are provided to cover the mounting holes. Shelf is shipped fully assembled.  

SUGGESTION: Finish the "Clamp" or "Knobs" in a contrasting color for a unique look.
